I have purchased many silk books, and a silk painter once told me" buy one that is all you need".Everything is the same,you will not learn much and spend money for nothing.Not really!Every book that I have purchased had different techniques.However this book is something else.You learn literally how to paint on silk.By using pigments,and thickeners,primers,and raw silk as canvas.The results are exquisite.I took fashion design and textile printing and some of the textile printing techniques were used here.I strongly recommend this book for those silk painters that really want to create unusual pieces,as well as using silk as a canvas.If I could give 10 stars to this book I would.
